WHO IS PASTOR DANIEL R. GRANDBERRY?

Elder Daniel Grandberry, the youngest of twelve siblings, was raised by his mother (Maxcine Grandberry) in a structured Christian environment. At the age of seventeen, to avoid the gangs and violence of Chicago, his Mother requested that he be relocated to Detroit, Michigan to live with his cousins (The Allen Family). With this new opportunity he achieved a better life and completed his education. He graduated from Cooley High School and later enrolled at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan successfully completing a degree in Political Science. In 1984 his life and career path were revolutionized; He gave his life to the Lord and was called into the ministry. With this new-found commitment, he obligatorily labored within his Church (Bailey Temple C.O.G.I.C) under the leadership of James Madison Johnson. There he served for over 20 years with a passion to win souls. He went on to complete his education by receiving three Masters Degrees from the Ashland Theological Seminary.

Elder Daniel Grandberry served in multifarious ministries: He was appointed as the President of the Jurisdictional Sunday School Departments by Bishop John H. Sheard overseeing over one hundred churches.  His responsibilities were to develop programs and create resources; to train and equip teachers, Sunday school leaders, and Pastors on how to build and grow a strong and vibrant Sunday School Department. Elder Daniel Grandberry was elevated as the Jurisdiction President of S.E.M (Sunday School, Evangelism, and Mission) and was latter appointed to the office of Pastor of Gordy Memorial C.O.G.I.C.  by Bishop John H. Sheard. Pastor Daniel Grandberry is a powerful and anointed teacher and preacher of the gospel. He has a powerful gift in motivating the people to accomplish their assignment for the Kingdom of God. It is with this anointing, his leadership ability, and having the support of his lovely wife that the Church where they serve has witnessed tremendous growth. He is the Founder and President of DRGMINISTIRIES (drgministries.com) and a non-profit organization called GREATER COMMUNITY OF HOPE (gcohope.org).

Pastor Daniel Grandberry is happily married to a beautiful young lady by the name of Jeannine M. Grandberry. They have two wonderful and loving daughters, Keiya and Nicole, a wonderful Son-in-law, Valente with three beautiful grand-children Valencia, Noah and A.J. Pastor Daniel Grandberry believes that the strength of the Church is in the spiritual health of the family. Gordy Memorial Church of God In Christ has grown tremendously under the leadership of Pastor Daniel R. Grandberry.

WHO IS FIRST LADY JEANNINE GRANDBERRY?

First Lady Jeannine Grandberry is a bright, intelligent and an anointed vessel of God. She is the wife of Pastor Daniel Grandberry, a mother, daughter and a servant of God. Frist Lady Jeannine Grandberry gave her life to the Lord in her early twenties and has been committed to serving God. She is a builder for this generation, a motivator and encourager to many individuals who has crossed her path.

One of distinct thing about First Lady Jeannine Grandberry is her vision for the church and for the community: It is to bring glory to God and making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered service and gospel-centered multiplication through outreach and evangelism. She is the President of the Gordy Memorial Women Department, which serves the women through many ministries of the Church.

First Lady Jeannine Grandberry has been a blessing to many, with her humble and sweet spirit she inspirers those who come to her for counsel to pray, love God, love their family and to live holy for God. Her dedication to God, her husband, and family has been at the forefront of her ministry.
